Underwater photography has the potential, in my opinion, to either be very horrible or very beautiful. These images are beautiful and inspiring, however I don't think I will ever participate in underwater photography because I can't swim.

I think you should just stay in the shallow end and try it! I bet you would be able to get some hauntingly beautiful things...
